It’s been a dream of mine since a young boy to make travel and work all part of the same story.
I don’t travel for work, as if it were just another thing that is part of the job description. I travel because it is in the travelling where I continue to gain more insight, experience and deeper understanding of the nature of humanity and life.
It’s not a short stop here, short stop there type of thing, either.
The travel I do is immersive and sometimes quite confronting, mentally and emotionally.
When things get tough, lonely and overwhelming I always try and put it all into perspective. I get to experience the world on a deeper level and I get to help so many people along the way – of course, it’s going to come with the discomforts and frustrations, like all paths in career and life.
